Danny and Maggie Sheehan are a happily married couple who blog about the Excitement Of Life. They have two beautiful daughters aged 9 and 10 who are even more excited by life. Recently they adopted a baby boy orangutan called Dodo.

Maggie and Danny believe that children are naturally excited by life and that we as adults tend to forget the excitement of discovery, adventure and learning. They believe than anyone can get that excitement back and that blogging is a perfect way to get started.

Inspiration for the title “excitedbylife” initially came from Danny earlier in life after traveling to the outback of central Australia with a bus load of crazy 18-35 year olds. The catch cry of the tour was “I am excited by life”. Everyone loved the tour and were all excited by Life by the end of the trip. Unfortunately the excitement did not last. It wasn’t until a decade later when he was sick and tired of being negative about life,  morbidly over weight and wasting life that he decided to change and “get excited by life”. The domain name excitedbylife.com was registered. Maggie discovered MLM and Danny was excited about the personal development side of it. They no longer agree with some of the aspects of MLM but the personal development experience was worth it. Life has been an evolutionary process for them both from Bricks and Mortar business owners to MLM to Internet Marketing and finally Blogging.

Danny has a background in software development. Maggie has built and ran a profitable coaching college that helped “English as a second language” students to improve their academic results. They both studied information technology and engineering at University and share a love of learning and discovery.

Maggie currently runs a number of other businesses online with Danny helping with the server maintenance and administration.
