If you have a 17 inch laptop then you know that finding a backpack that will fit is a real problem. There are a lot of laptop backpacks that say they can take a 17″ laptop but when you try them they actually can’t. The Swiss Gear Backpack from Amazon has finally delivered on this front.
Even with an over sized notebook this backpack leaves plenty of space for everything I need. My books, gym shoes and gym clothes. There is a compartment for everything e.g. pens, credit card, electronic gadgets etc. It also has the mandatory water bottle pouches on the outside.
The zippers on this backpack are very high quality. I don’t know how many times i have had to throw away a perfectly good laptop bag when a zipper sticks or splits open after a few months use. From the reviews I have read this bags zippers will last me forever and they look like they will as well.
Another feature I like is the plastic waterproof base, this will allow me to set my backpack down anywhere and confidently know my expensive contents are safe and dry.
It does have some minor problems. Although the zippers are high quaility there is no rain flap covering them so the rain might more easily get in. The other problem is that it has no waist strap. I do have a minor back problem (due to bad posture) so having a waist strap would take off a lot of weight from my back and help with my posture.
All in all this is the close to being the perfect 17 inch notebook backpack you can buy.
